Thanks in large part to a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation, our amazing staff, and volunteers at the MS Dream Center, and input from the many people with disabilities, we’re happy to announce the official launch of our new Accessible RI website: www.access-ri.org. The site provides accessibility information for over 1500 venues covering dining, wellness, cultural, recreational and other places of interest in our state. All have been surveyed on site according to the guidelines for identifying accessibility outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. The new site, designed and implemented by MS Dream Center Board Member, Joel Evans, is mobile friendly and features new accessibility features for enlarging fonts, changing contrast, and more. This has been designed for YOU, so please feel free to let us have your comments as we strive to expand accessibility awareness in our communities. Visit the Website
